Dino Babers and Syracuse picked up another recruit in the Class of 2018 on Friday with Dre Cisco's commitment.

Andre “Dre” Cisco, a Class of 2018 defensive back, committed to Syracuse on Friday evening in a tweet.

247sports.com’s composite rankings has Cisco, a defensive back at IMG (Florida) Academy, as a three-star safety. Fellow SU commit, linebacker Juan Wallace, also plays at IMG.

Cisco is listed as both a free safety and cornerback, per his Hudl.com profile. Standing 6-feet, 1-inch tall and weighing 188 pounds, Cisco clocks a 4.49 second 40-yard dash time, per his Hudl.

Cisco chose Syracuse over several Big Ten offers, including Nebraska, Illinois and Northwestern. He is the second secondary commit in Syracuse’s 2018 recruiting class after Cameron Jonas, although Trill Williams, listed as an athlete, could likely end up in the secondary at Syracuse.
